Preparing for Your First Appointment
After you schedule your appointment, we’ll send you an email with a link so you can fill out the intake paperwork conveniently at home. You can also choose to fill it out when you arrive for your first appointment. There is a little additional paperwork to fill out when you arrive. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early.

What to Expect
As you sit down with the doctor, our number one focus is to understand your condition thoroughly. Dr. Hammer or Dr. Hammer-Codd may ask you about your health history, dietary habits, previous injuries, and lifestyle. We want to get the full picture of what’s going on so we can customize care to your needs.
The doctor will then do a detailed assessment and examination and take x-rays, if necessary, before talking with you about what we’re seeing and how we can help. We will then make a personalized plan of care to help you reach your health goals. This first appointment should last about 45 minutes.
Relieving Pain Naturally
In most cases, we’ll perform an adjustment during your first visit. It’s important to us to get started with care right away so you can go home with some pain relief, although it may take time for you to experience maximum results.
